On June 4, 2019, the Richmond County Bar Association at its 110thAnniversary Dinner honored New York State Supreme Court Justice Orlando Marrazzo, Jr., as the Honoree of the year at a celebratory dinner held at Staten Island’s Hilton Ballroom on South Avenue.

Representing the Staten Island Council of Jewish Organizations at the dinner, was COJO President Rabbi Mendy Mirocznik. Rabbi Mirocznik remarked, “[t]hat the Council of Jewish Organizations congratulates Justice Orlando Marrazzo, Jr., on being honored as the Honoree of the Year at the 110th Anniversary Dinner of the Richmond County Bar Association. Justice Marrazzo joined the Staten Island bench in 2010 when he was first elected to the New York City Civil Court. Upon becoming a Judge, Justice Marrazzo a seasoned practioner with over 30 years of legal practice brought with him a wealth of legal expertise to the bench. The legal acumen that Justice Marrazzo possess has only furthered enhanced Staten Island’ judiciary to having it ranked as one of the most respected courts in New York State. We at COJO wish Justice Marrazzo continued success as jurist for many years to come.”
