Burt Leventhal, Owner of Premiere Glatt Kosher Caterers in NY, Passes Away

Burt Leventhal, the owner of Newman & Leventhal Caterers on the upper east side of Manhattan, has passed away.
Newman & Leventhal were the premiere glatt kosher catering company in the New York City and tri-state areas.
Innovative and exceptional, for over 50 years Newman & Leventhal Caterers has created the most elegant glatt kosher events in the country. Their reputation for outstanding food and gracious service is known throughout the world.
Mr. Leventhal’s company were the exclusive caterer of Park East Synagogue for decades and he was also a supporter and dear friend of the entire congregation at Park East.
Mr. Leventhal was the husband of beloved wife Mona, of blessed memory, and was the beloved father of Shari Leventhal (Steven Kauderer) as well as grandfather of Max, Josh, Remi and Zach and brother of Manny Leventhal and brother in law of Betty Leventhal.
His funeral took place on Monday, April 25th at the Park East Synagogue on East 67th Street in Manhattan.
